Software Engineer - Security

- Contribute significantly to multiple applications and systems related to access control through web UI development, CLI improvement, observability enhancement, performance optimization, and creation of an LLM-powered AI agent.
- Own a technical delivery of a generic service for requiring multi-party approvals for applications as a Tech Lead, overseeing architecture and implementation of multiple components.
- Maintain and support a secure pipeline that builds a platform for wires and securities transfer, managing over 2000+ codebases as dependencies and around 20 modules.
- Serve as a primary incident responder for a system that provisions physical access keycards in the company, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.

Software Engineer Intern - Data Engineering

- Investigated how OpenMetadata (OM) and OpenDataDiscovery (ODD), two open source projects that extract metadata from different kinds of data sources, can be integrated into the internal system.
- Implemented custom metrics and data quality tests for datasets using OM and ODD's frameworks.
- Designed and built custom connectors to collect metadata from the company's storage services to OM and ODD.
- Performed latency testing on metadata ingestion from more than 100000 datasets to OM and ODD in which each dataset has millions of rows.

- Explored the dataset of over 7000 Netflix movies and TV shows on Kaggle to build a hypothetical streaming service called ZuckFlix.
- Analyzed the trends of how the movies content that Netflix has added each year has changed over time to make a recommendation for what type of content should be added to the streaming platform.

- Interpreted biological data to research the nature of early proteins from long-term trends in their subsequent evolutions by inferring separate substitution matrices for different kinds of sequence.

- Implemented an application that finds the nearest restrooms based on the user's current location in a hackathon.
- Won the Best Beginner Hack prize.
